World Postcard Day is an annual, worldwide celebration of the joy that postcards bring. The holiday commemorates the creation of the Correspondenz Karte, the first postcard, in Austria-Hungary on October 1, 1869. Since 2020 I have designed and printed postcards to send to friends, family, and strangers to celebrate.
