I’ve always loved sending and receiving mail. It’s no surprise, then, that I’m an active participant in Postcrossing. Last year I sent 268 cards to strangers around the world. Over 60% of those cards went to two countries: Germany and the United States. Because I seem to enjoy record keeping, I took notes on which first-level administrative divisions I was sending cards to for those two countries.
